Young Belgian mezzo soprano with a warm and fluid timbre and a natural gift for the stage. At ease in the most diverse repertoires, the artist is regularly invited to perform all over the world, with both early music and contemporary ensembles. She is particularly fond of opera.
RAPHAËLE GREEN
Green is particularly fond of opera. This season, she will gladly join the stage of the Flanders Opera. There she will interpret ein Mädchen in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny by Kurt Weil, directed by Ivo Van Hove. The opera will be performed in Antwerp, Ghent and at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg. She will then return to the Ballet with Mozart/Concert Arias (Un Moto di Gioia), an acclaimed production by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. This will be performed in Antwerp, Bruges and St. Pölten in Austria. At the beginning of 2023 she will be part of Philip Glass’ Satyagraha, choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. She will sing the role of Mrs. Alexander.
